Jamal Kendall (Baby Jamal) is April, Bobby, and Little Bill's maternal cousin and the son of Deborah (Brenda's sister) and Gary, witch they're his antagonists. He is voiced by John Davis.
In Just a Baby Brenda's sister, Deborah, arrives for a visit with her new baby, Jamal. When April tells Little Bill to say hello to Jamal, not only does he do so, but he pinches Jamal's cheek, like his Aunt Deborah does when she says hello to him. Jamal cries, and April, shocked, hands Jamal to Deborah for his comfort. Brenda asks Little Bill why he did that. Little Bill says that's what everyone does when they greet him. Brenda tells him it's because he is a big boy, while Jamal is just a baby. Bobby tells him to be gentle with them. Little Bill, deciding to apologize, accidentally frightens the baby when he sings the "Sorry Song" too loudly, and runs away to the stairs when Jamal cries over this noise. Big Bill explains how babies like soft music like lullabies. Aunt Deborah gives Little Bill the job of telling her when Jamal has woken from a nap, but when the baby spits up, Little Bill fears "he broke the baby." Bobby teaches Little Bill that babies sometimes make messes and shows him how to hold Jamal properly. He also appeared in Baseball Glovers where he wears a T-shirt and a diaper. However, he touches Little Bill's nose and everybody laughes. Baby Jamal is the subsequent episode focus of the Noggin/Nick Jr. Channel animated series for the same name where he wants to get to Vola and her home and his family are antagonists.
