On a Saturday morning, Little Bill Glover wakes up very early. He realizes that the sun isn't out yet and it's only 5:00a.m. He walks out into the hallway and finds that Bobby is still asleep. Little Bill calls into the room and asks Bobby if he's awake, to which the latter responds "I am now." He asks Little Bill what he's doing up so early on a Saturday. Little Bill says that he just woke up. Bobby tells Little Bill that it's 5:00a.m. and he needs to go back to bed.

Little Bill tries to see if April is up, but she is still sleeping. Big Bill, Brenda, and Elephant are still sleeping, too. Alice the Great is up and ready for the day. After Little Bill gets dressed, his great-grandmother takes him for a walk. Along the way, they see Mr. Rojas and Lito, Al Glover, and Miss Murray, not to mention some geese (a goose and some goslings).
