Little Bill Wiki

One day at the Glover Residence, Brenda, April, Bobby, and Little Bill were having April’s cereal Puppy Stuff when April sung about Puppy Stuff. Bobby and Little Bill thought it was very funny and sung and teased April about singing Puppy Stuff. April felt embarrassed and Brenda told them to quiet down and let Big Bill sleep and was sick and wasn’t going to work. Big Bill Glover catches a cold and has to stay home from work. The kids felt sorry for their poor father. Little Bill decided to check on him.

Little Bill arrived to check on Big Bill and wanted him to guess. But Big Bill felt sick to guess so he did anyway and suggested a doctor and cop but Little Bill went in and surprised his father. Little Bill saw Big Bill’s nose was stuffed to breathe through and sneezed loudly. When Big Bill said that he had a cold, Little Bill thought Big Bill was cold and offered a sweater and coloring book but Big Bill wanted to rest. Then Little Bill saw that Big Bill had a fever and then Little Bill volunteers to stay home and take care of him, but his dad insists that Alice the Great will take care of him. So Little Bill left and loved Big Bill very much.

At school, Little Bill can't concentrate because he's worried about Big Bill; Because of that, he was sad and played less and didn’t feel like himself. Andrew arrived and saw Little Bill was doing nothing and Andrew offered to play castle but Little Bill didn’t feel like it even though Andrew offered him to play the king and dragon. Then Fuchsia and Kiku arrived to play castle too and Fuchsia played the dragon and roared and pretended to breathe fire and she, Kiku, and Andrew laughed and laughed accept for Little Bill. Fuchsia, Kiku, and Andrew saw how sad and alone Little Bill was and Andrew, Kiku, and Fuchsia were worried about their friend.

Fuchsia called for Miss Murray and told her about Little Bill being sad and Kiku added that he didn’t want to play castle or anything. Miss Murray was worried about Little Bill too and he told them about Big Bill being sick and Andrew said that his dad had a cold once and used up all the tissues and ran out and then had orange juice.

Little Bill figured that Big Bill should have the same things but Miss Murray was sure that Big Bill would be okay and Little Bill said that he wanted his dad to get better. Miss Murray asked him what he did to get better and Little Bill explained that he had Brenda make soup and the others liked it and Little Bill, Fuchsia, Andrew and Kiku suggest they make a Get Well card for Mr. Bill, like they did when Little Bill had Chicken Pox, to cheer him up.

At the color table, Andrew, Kiku, and Fuchsia didn’t know what to put but Little Bill suggested music since Big Bill loved music and they agreed. Kiku drew a banjo, Andrew drew drums, Fuchsia drew a trombone, and Little Bill drew Big Bill playing a trumpet.

Little Bill then imagined him and his friends playing the same instruments and walked though the bright lights and formed a parade. They were snapped out of their imagination when Miss Murray saw their drawing and Little Bill showed everyone Big Bill playing a trumpet since music makes him happy and better and good. Kiku had an idea: She decided that they can sing a song for Big Bill.

During music time, the children make up a Get Well Song. Fuchsia suggests they they can go to Little Bill’s house to sing to Big Bill but Miss Murray explained that Big Bill can’t have company when he’s sick because he can get them infected. Miss Murray then decided to make a tape recorder ad records it so Little Bill will have a copy to bring home. And Little Bill thought hard on what to sing and he started. Everyone cheered and then Kiku went, then Fuchsia, then Andrew, and they all sung together. Little Bill was excited and eager to show Big Bill.

When Little Bill comes home from school and gives Big Bill the card and the tape, his father says the thing that made him feel better was having Little Bill do all these nice things for him even though Little Bill suggested medicine and resting but it was because of his son and listened to the song again and they sung together. In Bed, Little Bill started to remember what he did today. He told us that Big Bill was sick and said that he gave him the card and tape and made him completely better and that tomorrow they were going to relax. Big Bill called to Little Bill and asked who he was talking to but Little Bill laughed and went to sleep.
