(episode begins at Little Bill's school where everyone is playing. Little Bill and his cousin, Fuchsia are reading a book.)

Miss Murray: "Okay, boys and girls. Everybody gather together.

Andrew: (off-screen) "All right!"

Miss Murray: "We can leave the blocks and the puppets and the coloring time later. (on-screen) "I have some big news to tell everybody."

(The students head to the rug in excitement.)

Miss Murray: "Come on, take a seat."

Little Bill: "Miss Murray, what's the big news?"

Kiku: "Oh tell us, Miss Murray."

Fuchsia: "Yeah, tell us."

Miss Murray: "Well, the big news is... (sighs) I'm getting married."

(The students are amazed.)

Little Bill: "Huh?"

Miss Murray: "And I want to invite all of you to my wedding."

Kiku: "Yay!"

Andrew: Yay!"

Andrew & Fuchsia: "We're going to Miss Murray's wedding!" (laugh)

Kiku: (off-screen) "We can go!"

Little Bill: (raises hand) "Miss Murray?"

Miss Murray: "Yes, Little Bill?"

Little Bill: "Are you still gonna be our teacher?"

Miss Murray: (laughs and rubs Little Bill's head.) "Mm-hmm."

Andrew: (raises hand) "Miss Murray, who're you gonna marry?"

Miss Murray: "A man named "Winthrop Clinkscales.""

Andrew: "Clinkensnails?"

Fuchsia: "Clinkytails?"

Little Bill: "Huh?"

Miss Murray: "Clinkscales. He's a doctor at the children's hospital, and he's going to be my husband."

Andrew: (raises hand) "Miss Murray, what does he look like?"

Miss Murray: "He looks like, this.."

(Miss Murray holds up a photo of her and Winthrop together on the beach. The children are amazed.)

Little Bill: "Miss Murray, what happens at a wedding?"

Miss Murray: "The couple getting married makes a promise to love each other and stay together."

Fuchsia: "Do you get to wear a big white dress?"

Miss Murray: "Yes. I'm going to wear a very pretty dress, and the groom will wear a very handsome suit."

Little Bill: "Why are you getting married?"

Miss Murray: "Hmm. That's a good question. We're getting married because we're in love."

Andrew: "I love my dog Farfy."

(Little Bill and the other students imitate dogs and laugh.)

Miss Murray: (chuckles) "I'd like to have two of you little doggies..." (Fuchsia and Dorodo bark.) "Help out at the wedding."

(The children are amazed.)

Miss Murray: "That's why I've put your names in a hat, so we can pick who will be the flower girl, and who will be the ring bearer."

Fuchsia: "What do they do, Miss Murray?"

Miss Murray: "Well, the flower girl carries a basket of flower petals and sprinkles them all along the aisle of the church."

Fuchsia: "Ooh."

Kiku: "That sounds like fun."

Miss Murray: "And the ring bearer gets to carry the wedding rings for the bride and groom."

Andrew: "Cool."

Little Bill: "Cool."

Miss Murray: "And the flower girl will be..."

(Fuchsia and Kiku continuously say "Pick me!")

Miss Murray: "Kiku!"

(The students cheer for Kiku.)

Kiku: "I'm the flower girl!"

Miss Murray: (chuckles) "And the ring bearer will be..."

Andrew: "Me! I wanna do it!"

Little Bill: "Me, me, me!"

Miss Murray: "Little Bill!"

(The students are amazed.)

Little Bill: "Me?"

Kiku: (off-screen) "All right, Little Bill!"

Miss Murray: "Yes."

Little Bill: "Yay, I'm the ring bear!"

(The students cheer.)

Little Bill: "Do I wear a ring bear suit?"

Miss Murray: "Mmm-hmm."

Little Bill: "Yay! I'm the ring bear!"

Kiku: "I'm the flower girl!"

(The students laugh.)

Miss Murray: "All right, everybody, it's time to go home, so let's get our things from our cubbies."

(The students except Kiku and Little Bill head to their cubbies.)

Little Bill: "Yay!"

Kiku: "I can't wait to be the flower girl!"

(Little Bill and Kiku walk over to Andrew and Fuchsia who are getting their backpacks.)

Little Bill: "I can't wait to be the ring bear!"

Andrew: "Are you really gonna look like a bear?"

Little Bill: "Uh-huh. With fur and paws and everything."

(Fuchsia and Andrew are amazed.)

Little Bill: "Grrrr!"

(The students laugh. Little Bill imagines himself in a bear outfit.)

Little Bill: (to viewers) "I'm a ring bear! I'm a ring bear!"

(Kiku comes out of the bush in a flower outfit.)

Kiku: "I'm a flower girl!"

Little Bill: "Grr!"

(Kiku and Little Bill laugh. They both then run around while laughing.)

Fuchsia: (off-screen) "Little Bill..."

(We are back in reality)

Fuchsia: (off-screen) "I can't wait to go the wedding."

Andrew: "Me too. Especially the bear part."

Little Bill: "I have a bear mask at home. It goes on your nose."

Andrew: "Oh."

Little Bill: "I'm gonna wear it at the wedding with my bear suit."

Andrew: "Cool."

Little Bill: "I can't wait to tell my mom."

(Fuchsia, Andrew, Little Bill, and Kiku head out the door while saying goodbye to Miss Murray.

Kiku: (off-screen) "I'm gonna wear real flowers from my backyard."

(We now zoom to Little Bill's apartment.)

Little Bill: (Singing) "I'm the ring bear. I am the the ring bear. I am the the ring bear. I am the the ring bear!"

(Little Bill pulls out his bear nose mask from his drawer.)

Little Bill: "Here it is!"

(Little Bill puts his nose mask on and chuckles.)

Little Bill: (to Elephant) "Look at me! I'm a bear. Roar!" (giggles) "It's me, Elephant. It's just a mask." (Lifts up mask) "See?"

(Elephant blinks)

Little Bill: (giggles) (singing) "I'm a ring bear. I'm a ring bear. I'm the ring bear. I am the ring ring bear. I'm the riiinnng bear."

Brenda: (off-screen) "Little Bill, dinner time!"

Little Bill: (deep voice) "Coming, Mama." (giggles)

(Little Bill heads downstairs. We now cut to the kitchen.)

Brenda: (to Bobby and April) "Yes, Miss Murray's getting married this Saturday, and your father and I are going because Little Bill is gonna be the ring bearer."

April: "Wow."

Bobby: "Cool."

Little Bill: (roars)

(April and Bobby laugh.)

Brenda: "Uh-oh. There's a bear in the kitchen. Here, bear. You can have Little Bill's seat."

Little Bill: (deep voice) "Ha ha. Thank you."

(Little Bill takes a seat.)

Little Bill: "I'm the ring bear. I'm the ring bear. (roars at April.)

April: "Little Bill, you're not gonna be a ring "bear.""

Little Bill: "Uh-huh, in Miss Murray's wedding."

April: "I know you're gonna be in the wedding, but you're going to be the ring bearer. That means you carry the rings."

(Little Bill looks around.)

Little Bill: "Mama, don't I get to dress up like a bear?"

Brenda: "Mm, no honey. But you'll get to wear a very nice suit called a tuxedo."

Little Bill: "I wanna dress up like a bear."

(Little Bill leaves the kitchen. We now fade to the outside of the apartment. Little Bill is sadly in his bed. He sighs.)

Brenda: "Okay. Time for bed. We have a big day tomorrow. We'll be meeting Miss Murray at the wedding store."

Little Bill: "How come?"

Brenda: "So you can try on your tuxedo. The suit you'll wear in the wedding."

Little Bill: "I don't wanna be in the wedding anymore."

Brenda: "You don't? Why not?"

Little Bill: "I wanna be a bear, not a tuxedo."

Brenda: "But honey, the ring bearer is supposed to wear a tuxedo. He carries the rings for the bride and groom."

Little Bill: "I don't want to."

Brenda: "But you promised Miss Murray you would."

Little Bill: "I did?"

Brenda: "Yes. When you told Miss Murray you would be the ring bearer, that's making a promise and promises are important. Your father and I gave each other rings when we got married as a promise to stay together for the rest of our lives."

Little Bill: "Will I have to be the ring bearer for the rest of my life?"

Brenda: (chuckles) "No. Just at the wedding. If you decide to keep your promise. You think about it, okay?"

(Brenda kisses Little Bill.)

Little Bill: "Okay."

Brenda: "Good night."

(Brenda turns off Little Bill's light and leaves the room. Little Bill goes to sleep. We now zoom out of the apartment at night. It suddenly becomes daytime. Brenda is in the living room on her laptop.)

Little Bill: "Hi, Mama."

Brenda: "Good morning. Have you thought about being the ring bearer?"

Little Bill: "Mmm-hmm."

Brenda: "Are you gonna do it?"

Little Bill: "Um, if I don't get to dress up as a bear, what do I do?"

Brenda: "I'll show you."

(Brenda carries a pillow)

Little Bill: "Does the ring bear carry a pillow?"

Brenda: "The ring "bearer."

Little Bill: "The ring "bearer."

Brenda: "Yes. The wedding rings will be on the pillow."

Little Bill: (while carrying a pillow.) "Oh."

Brenda: (off-screen) "Very good." (on-screen) "Then, the ring bearer walks down the aisle like this... Step together. Step together. You try it with me."

Little Bill & Brenda: "Step together. Step together."

Brenda: "Very good."

(Little Bill and Brenda laugh.)

Little Bill: "Can I do it like this?"

(Little Bill makes a funny face and puts the pillow on his head. He then walks.)

Little Bill: "Step together."

(Brenda laughs.)

Little Bill: "Step together."

(Little Bill and Brenda laugh.)

Brenda: "We'll have to ask Miss Murray about that. That is, if you decide you want to be the ring bearer."

Little Bill: "I want to be the ring barer." (smiles)

Brenda: "You do?"

Little Bill: "Uh-huh. I made a promise to Miss Murray."

Brenda: "I'm glad you're keeping your promise, honey."

(Little Bill smiles at his mother. He once again makes a funny face and places the pillow on his head.)

Little Bill: "Step together."

Brenda: "Hey, ring bearer?"

Little Bill: "Mmm-hmm?"

Brenda: "Breakfast is this way." (chuckles)

(Little Bill giggles)

Little Bill & Brenda: "Step together. Step together."

(Little Bill and Brenda repeatedly say "Step together" as the camera zooms out of the apartment, ending the episode.)
